Which image formats can I convert?

Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF files from iPhones and iPads are decoded right in your browser and saved as JPG, PNG, or WebP so they open on any device. Note this tool converts HEIC to other formats, but does not output HEIC.
Are my images uploaded to a server?

Is there a file size or quantity limit?
There is no fixed size or count limit imposed by the tool. Because conversion happens locally, very large files or large batches depend on your device's memory and browser, so performance may vary on older hardware.
How does the quality setting work?
The quality slider (from 0.4 to 1.0) controls compression for lossy formats like JPG and WebP. Higher values keep more detail at a larger file size; lower values shrink the file. PNG is lossless, so the slider has no visible effect on it.
Why do my transparent PNGs get a white background as JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so any transparent areas are filled with white when you convert to JPG. To preserve transparency, choose PNG or WebP as your output format instead.
