What is the difference between Loop and Boomerang?
Loop repeats the whole clip end to end the number of times you choose. Boomerang plays the clip forward once and then again in reverse, creating a seamless back-and-forth bounce effect.
Why does the boomerang have no sound?
Boomerang reverses the video and joins it to the original, which drops the audio track, so the result is a silent MP4. Use Loop instead if you want to keep the original audio.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Your video is processed 100% in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm, so it is never uploaded and never leaves your device.
How many times can I loop a video?
You set the number of repeats yourself, with a minimum of 2 and a default of 3. There is no fixed upper limit, though very long results take more time and memory to build.
Why is it slow the first time I use it?
The first run downloads the roughly 30 MB ffmpeg engine. After that it is cached in your browser, so later runs start much faster and even work offline.
What formats and output does it support?
You can load MP4 and other common video formats, and the looped or boomerang result is always saved as an MP4 file.
